Position Summary:

The Switchboard Operator handles external and internal calls transferring them appropriately, or otherwise responding to the caller's needs. The switchboard operator updates physician schedules, monitor and responds to the Simplex alarm systems and emergency protocols, is familiar with the various phone types and other various telephony services. The switchboard operator will work varied shifts. All operators are trained and expected to work any shift at any given time.
